On one hand, nice job to save the car. On the other hand that was a stupid fucking move by the driver. Instead of hitting the wall that is there just for the reason of catching cars that can’t slow down sufficiently he decides to go ripping through the cold area of the track with an out of control car and then through the fence out of the boundaries of the track. Who knows what could have been on the other side of that fence. There could have been a group of kids peeking through a gap in that fence to watch the racing. Swallow your pride, eat the wall, and let your safety gear do its job instead of launching your out of control race car into public streets.

I think I saw brake smoke from the rear wheels so maybe front brakes failed?

It’s very concerning to me that that’s not a proper drake strip with run off and nets. 2000 ho is gonna get you hauling ass in 1/4 mike.

Correct. I can see him making the split second decision though. It won’t stop but it’ll turn, so turn away from the wall.
He did the wrong thing but I don't really blame him. Survival kicks in you know
